I woke up and thought it was 2005 when I found out that Buy.com is selling refurb G4 iBooks. I actually came up on one of these (Santa Clara Univ what up!) for the free and it’s a nice little machine. For $350 I think it’s worth it, it can definitely handle the workload of the common user. It comes with a charger, leopard pre installed, and a 30 day warranty.
A couple days ago I had took a trip down to the Cloud for a meeting with my brother from another Tay. After business was finished, we took a listen to an almost finished version of the upcoming album HELLADOPE: Return To Planet Rock. I had my puter with me and was lucky enough to record some secret footage. Peep game.
If you were in awe as I was wondering who was on the hook, it’s none other then the lovely @IsabellaDuGraf (follow her, I hear she wants 400 followers by her bday).
Keep tuned on here and Cloud Nice for more details about the release of the album and some surprises that go along with it…
Oh how I’ve longed for this day to come. The first time I had seen a blank New Era was about 3 or 4 years ago in a Cool magazine I found in the book section of Uwajimaya. Granted I can’t read Japanese so I had no idea where to cop one or if was even being distributed. But now my day is here. It says in the description that Lids will not embroider them nor will they be sold at Lids locations with embroidery services. Hmmm…time to find a plug. I need to make myself a THS fitted.
I was really considering just keeping this to myself.
Remember that brick pictured above? The original iPod is back for sale at a whooping $130 from the actual apple webstore. To be honest if you’re gonna tote something as big as that you’re better off with one of these, but the throwback iPod is cool none the less.
While sitting at my desk today I found myself itching for something to read rather than my normal blogs. I remember reading Plato’s Allegory of the cave back in highschool and thought I’d brush through it once more. For those of you who aren’t familiar let me give you the gist of it:
Written through dialog, the conversation is between Plato and his brother Glaucon. Plato paints a picture to his brother of a group of people who have been chained and have lived in a cave since early childhood. They face a blank wall in which shadows of various things like figures of animals and men are displayed. Knowing nothing else but the pictures they see and the sounds they hear, they believe this to be reality rather than just a reflection of it.
That’s just barely skimming the top. The story goes more and more in depth adding different scenarios to the equation. Like what happens when one of the people in the cave is shown the fire that’s displaying the shadows, or better yet what happens when one is forced to go outside and see what the world really looks like.
I could go on and on about the different meanings behind the story or how it’s a direct interpretation of the world we live in today, but I think it would be best to read the actual text and see what you can decipher for yourself.
The video above has examples of how to keep your brain in check and improve your memory by doing simple exercises and eating/drinking purple stuff. It’s worth a watch and definitely worth trying out (if you remember of course).
Vanessa Hudgens drops her 2nd batch of iPhone smut (check the first set out here). And I gotta say the bitch is pretty bad lol. NSFW, ya cubicle creeper.
co-pa-cet-ic [koh-puh-set-ik, -see-tik]
-adjective Slang.
fine; completely satisfactory; OK.
I’m sure if you live in the US you’ve heard the word used and more than likely know what it means. The strange thing about the word is though nobody knows the origin. There is a plethora of theories out there ranging from the word originating from African American slang to being used as Chinook Jargon to speak between tribes in the North West but nobody seems to know for sure. Anyways now you’ve kinda learned something. No need for thanks, it’s all good.
