I woke up and thought it was 2005 when I  found out that Buy.com is selling refurb G4 iBooks. I actually came up on one of these (Santa Clara Univ what up!) for the free and it’s a nice little machine. For $350 I think it’s worth it, it can definitely handle the workload of the common user. It comes with a charger, leopard pre installed, and a 30 day warranty.

Before your Christmas celebrations with the family you got to get into the spirit with a Pre-funk with the homies! The Crocodile (long time Seattle Concert venue, which is DOPE btw) is opening their doors for the first club event with Resident Media Wednesday December 23rd for our new weekly event “Friday Night Lights”. I know I know, its not a Friday. Since Christmas falls on a Friday, we decided to do a PRE-Funk to the holiday festivities. Our regular Friday nights start January 1st New Years Day!

Wear your Christmas sweater or email RME206@gmail.com with first and last names by 8pm Wednesday night and get in free before 11pm! $10 regular cover all night. If you have been to Resident Media event, then you know the music will be DOPE especially with Deejay Sean Cee and Spinja and the crowd will be bangin!

I don’t usually like writing posts about myself, but I just had to share this with the world. If you’ve seen any of Jay-Z’s recent performances, he usually ends with Encore then goes around the stage to point out his fans specifically. He just happened to point me out! This was the best $75 I’ve ever spent on an event!

I didn’t even bother to watch the VMA’s last night because I could honestly care less about it or MTV (do they even show music videos anymore?) but I did youtube the mishap. I had already read what happened between West and Swift prior to it’s west coast (the best coast) showing thanks to the twitternet and in all honesty I think it was just a clever publicity stunt pulled by MTV but whatever. The following quote made me laugh so hard I literally almost fell out of my chair and hit my head on my desk.

“I was standing on the stage and I was really excited because I had just won the award,” Swift said after Sunday’s show at Radio City Music Hall. “And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on the stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.”

Remember that brick pictured above? The original iPod is back for sale at a whooping $130 from the actual apple webstore. To be honest if you’re gonna tote something as big as that you’re better off with one of these, but the throwback iPod is cool none the less.
