they qualify, but it might be unfair just to call THEEsatisfaction a hip-hop duo. thee raps. sat sings. that won’t quite do justice to the group’s talents either. not when they’re simply making music. all the time. without charging you for it.
it’s what thee did the night before thanksgiving. she couldn’t sleep. so she cut up some stevie wonder and fashioned a mini-beat tape with the trimmings. peep the titles and getting the concept is easy. take it as a seven-minute piece of experimentation.
1. greens soaking in the sink

not ones to let output outdo quality, the group officially released this collaboration with oc notes just a few days prior. running just under two minutes, there’s a lot going on in “icing”, maybe more than a lot of four minute shits you can think of. beautiful voices, for instance.
A couple days ago I had took a trip down to the Cloud for a meeting with my brother from another Tay. After business was finished, we took a listen to an almost finished version of the upcoming album HELLADOPE: Return To Planet Rock. I had my puter with me and was lucky enough to record some secret footage. Peep game.
If you were in awe as I was wondering who was on the hook, it’s none other then the lovely @IsabellaDuGraf (follow her, I hear she wants 400 followers by her bday).
Keep tuned on here and Cloud Nice for more details about the release of the album and some surprises that go along with it…
The times just did a piece on a very essential part of the Valley. Without this line I never would have gotten to school, met my best friends, gotten to my first job, bombed my first walls, jacked my first car, or broke so many hearts. I owe the 7 everything. 43RD & Holly, What Up. Read on »
This is by far one of the more interesting articles I’ve come across this year. Jon (at least that’s what everyone is calling him for now) has lost his memory. He woke up in discovery park with $600 bucks tucked away in his sock and no recollection of who he is or how he even got to Seattle. He is said to be fluent in 3 languages and has a “professorial knowledge of European culture history”, yet doesn’t remember much of his past and isn’t sure if he wants to know. Read the rest of the article below.
My boy Eric put me on to this video by his dude Aquino. The vid was directed by Olugbenro Ogunsemore and shot down in Georgetown at the Old Brewery. Be on look out for dude, more info will be added as it trickles in.
Also, shout out to my guy PJ who’s in the video. What up du!
FYI.
The vid is cut off since my paramaters are maxed out at 500. Peep the full video in HD here.
Not sure if #websitewednsday is as commonly (if used at all) used hashtag like #FollowFriday but none the less I thought it would be a good idea to try. Anyhow below are some of my favorite sites and all of which are from The Town. You can also check the section on the far right also entitled “Good Writtens” (I know, it’s very clever) for more sites.
“A man who police say jumped in front of a Sound Transit light-rail train shortly before midnight Monday has become the first fatality on the light-rail line since service began less than two weeks ago.
The victim, identified only as an adult male, was struck along a transit corridor between Fourth Avenue South and Sixth Avenue South a few blocks south of Safeco Field. Police spokeswoman Renee Witt said early information from traffic-collision investigators indicates that as the southbound train approached, the man — for unknown reasons — climbed over a barrier south of South Holgate Street and “jumped into the path of the train.”
Witt stopped short of calling the incident a suicide, saying that determination would have to be made by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, which is investigating.
The victim, who went under the train, was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department medics.
Police spokesman Jeff Kappel said none of the other passengers on the light-rail train saw the incident. They were taken away by bus.
Kappel said there are no crosswalks in the “non-pedestrian” area where the incident occurred, which has a Metro bus lane and the Sound Transit tracks. A low concrete barrier topped by a chain-link fence runs alongside the tracks.
Sound Transit opened the light-rail line between downtown Seattle and Tukwila July 18.”
