EX PROSTITUTES WILL MAKE LAPTOP CASES WITH YOUR OLD T SHIRTS.

Well the title pretty much says it all. Send in your old t-shirts to Hello Rewind and they will have an ex hooker make that bad boy into a new laptop sleeve. But honestly for $50, they could offer a little bit more. *wink

We want to show sex trafficking survivors that rescue is not the end and that there is hope for something better in their lives. We train and teach them in fundamental skills — sewing, English, business skills. Many of the laptop sleeves made through Hello Rewind are hand-crafted by sex trafficking survivors, and we hope that they become an integral part of our business operations. After supporting the sex trafficking suvivors involved with Hello Rewind, the remaining profits are recycled back into the company so that we can grow the business to support even more women.

ANYONE REMEMBER THE BOX?

(this is the best picture i could find)

(this is the best picture i could find)

Most of you kids may not know this but back in my day, before MTV consisted of Tila Tiquela and The Hills, they used to actually have……….. wait for it ……………music. Shows like YO Mtv Raps, Unplugged, Diary, and even Beavis and Butthead were about the music. And if you can remember MTV pre “reality tv”, you should also be able to remember The Box.

For those that don’t know it was a channel that only played music videos that people called up and requested. Now in order to call you would have to pay for the service, but if you watched it long enough, the video would want to see would eventually get chosen. In case you were wondering what had happened to the channel, it was bought out by MTV in 99 and taken off air and replaced by your beloved MTV2 Jan 1, 2001.

MTV killed the video star.

RIP.
